Honoured to join Josey Rebelle for her Pickle Factory residency this Friday, 21st June – especially as it’s a lineup of all Black women (a rare occurrence for me), plus a very special guest! (check clue on facebook)
I’ll be playing classics from Swerve @ Velvet Room & The End-eras, with some from the Speed-era maybe thrown in too.
see you there x
I feel truly honoured and greatly privileged to be playing my old friend Calibre’s debut, 10-week XOYO residency – both Drum & Bass and More Styles sets. tickets will fly! be quick x
If you missed it, in the lead up to this announcement I recorded a 100% Calibre productions mix, which you can listen to via Soundcloud. Needless to say, his incredible back catalogue made it quite difficult to finalise a tracklist! I ended up going for strictly his own originals (bar 1 remix) – personal favourites that I played a LOT, that fly under the radar a little now, and some unreleased gems.
Can’t wait for the residency to start!
it’s apparently been 13 years (!) since I last played for Dub Sessions – really looking forward to being back on the island.
“Join us for a night of music and help raise funds to support people threatened with deportation!
End Deportation’s Casework Team support people at risk of being deported by charter flight by connecting people with legal information, helping to gather evidence for their cases and supporting them in securing legal representation.
please visit http://enddeportations.com/casework/ for more information on the casework group, what they do, and who they can support.”
This is a very worthwhile cause that’s close to my heart – please pass through on the night or make a donation if you can.
Click here to listen back to my recent guest spot on The History of Jungle Show, Deja Vu FM.
It was my first time appearing on the station – lots of underground dance music history there! Big shouts to Pesk & Harry G for the invite. We chatted about various aspects of my journey through Jungle/D&B, and played some of my favourite tracks from (roughly) 1990-97. As always I pulled out way too many records, so keep an eye out for a possible Part 2 at some point…
