Well, I haven’t posted here for a while. The reason for this ties in with what I’m about to link to- I very rarely talk about it online, but by day I work as a producer for the Prison Radio Association, a small charity that runs National Prison Radio (a radio station for people serving prison sentences across England & Wales).
Segments from one of the shows we broadcast on NPR featured on BBC Radio 4’s “Archive on 4” programme last night, 19th March. The show is quite heavy at times, but these are the realities of life. We’re all just a step or two away from finding ourselves in the same position listen to How to Go Straight.
I felt immensely proud hearing some of the guys we’ve worked with, all now doing really well. Big up Hilary on a very fine presentation. If you’re interested in knowing a little more about our work, please check the PRA website.
And finally coming back to my original point: working for the PRA making radio every day sometimes makes me feel very lethargic about producing my own show/ podcast; I know some of you have been waiting very patiently for the next instalment of The Next Chapter 3, please accept my apologies and know it will be with you very soon! (hopefully later today)
Thanks for reading and happy Sunday,
